Orange Cranberry Sauce
ingredients:
- 1 (12 oz) bag frozen cranberries
- ¾ cup white granulated sugar
- 1 cup orange juice (with pulp)
- 2 tsp orange zest (optional)
- Wash cranberries and drain
- Add cranberries, salt, and orange juice to a sauce pan over medium heat and cover
- Once most of the berries have popped (about 10 minutes) reduce heat and add sugar; stir well to dissolve the sugar
- Cover the pot again and continue to cook another 10 minutes
- Cool and transfer to serving dish or a container for refrigerator/freezer
